Was AWESOME!

So, we made this movie. Well. We entered this contest. Then we made this movie with the equipment they gave us. A miniDV camera, a MacbookPro with iMovie and Final Cut Studio and other goodies, a tripod, and a mic. We had one week.

And we did it. We made a short film in 1 week. Entered it into the contest. And thought that was the end. And we were happy with that.

And then they emailed us "unlimited free tickets". And we were excited about that.

And then we realized we were in the top 16. And we were shocked to hear that.

And then we went to the final event to watch all top 16. And then they gave out the 3 awards.

When they got to Best Comedy... these two words showed up on the big screen...
"Berkeley Olympics"

And then we knew we had won. And we were so shocked. And we thought we were dreaming.

But it was all true. And we went on stage, in complete and utter shock, lost all coherence in our sentences, and afterward went out for ice cream in our excitement.

Yea. We won. Holy... fucking... shit. That was all I could say all night.

And now we won 2 iPod shuffles, Final Cut Studio 2, 100 iTunes songs.... and we're going to regionals in San Francisco in November.

Holy shit. I can't believe this is happening.
